Step 2

Selection and visa application

Candidate choice, full documentation, embassy decision 30 days.

Step 3

Police administration call

Within 5–20 days; bank statement, employment contract, accommodation proof.

Step 4

Approval and arrival

Visa issuance, organized arrival and transport to accommodation.

Employer costs

Clearly defined costs

  • Worker net salary
  • Taxes and contributions
  • Accommodation
  • Meals (3 per day or min 100 EUR/month)
  • Possible return ticket costs in special situations

After arrival

Status and extension

After arrival, the worker has regulated stay and work for the duration of the D visa (6 months). To extend the engagement, it is necessary to start the procedure for a work‑residence permit before the visa expires. Our recommendation is around 30 days before expiry, to ensure all conditions for starting the process are met.
